Color choices should support hierarchy, accessibility, and recognition. Treat palette entries as roles first and raw values second.

Accessibility
Section titled “Accessibility”All foreground and background combinations must meet WCAG contrast requirements before use. Do not use color alone to communicate state, category, or priority.
Needed Decisions
Section titled “Needed Decisions”Replace working values with approved brand tokens when the final palette is adopted. Include RGB, HEX, CMYK, and usage notes for each production color.
